  As far as benefits companies go they are the worst I've ever experienced as an employee. The letters they send request information under the guise that the government is making them ask, when other companies don't have to. The benefits card they supply defeats the whole purpose of the card by not making it easy to use and having to submit paperwork anyhow. The one and only time I talked with a person in "customer service" to resolve an issue, at the phone number they offered, she was incredibly rude. Plus she didn't resolve anything, therefore there was no need to call again. Maybe if your an employer they are useful, however as an employee trying to use the program it is the most cumbersome, convoluted one I've ever used.

  just like any other so-called benefit company. I would guess their business model is to deny claims as often as possible, to increase profit margins. Apparently a dated, titled, and signed credit card receipt is not enough to prove that I made a payment to a day care provider.

  I have had no issues at all with DBS unlike some of the other reviewers. If a claim is denied, whomever I speaks with explains what I need to do. They are always willing to help.
